  • DGC will fix the membership categories, numbers and rates.
  • The General Manager has the final decision on accepting new members to DGC.
  • Membership renewals will be due for payment on the 1st of January each year. On receipt of the annual membership payment, the member’s club card will be issued. If payment of the annual membership fee is not received by 15th January, the membership will be terminated on 15th January.
  • Membership cards will not be issued for membership duration of two months or less.
  • Members are liable to the Club to pay all debts and accounts incurred by virtue of membership within 15 days of the date of notification of such debts and accounts. Members who fail to pay accounts on demand will be denied access to Club facilities.
  • Members should notify the Club of any change in residence or status that may entail the transfer of membership from one category to another. DGC must be notified of amended postal address, email and telephone numbers.
  • Members are not permitted to post or publish articles on DGC notice boards or other display counters without written approval being obtained from the General Manager.
  • A member may resign his or her membership by delivering a written notice of his resignation to the DGC General Manager. Once approved on the refund processed, the member will be expected to return his/her membership card. The member shall remain liable for any unpaid or outstanding fees, payments or accounts following resignation date.
  • Refunds of annual membership fees shall be furnished at a prorated cost.
  • Membership of DGC is not transferable. Only when a member has purchased a corporate membership can the named executive on the corporate membership be changed.
  • Children of members attaining the age 21 will be considered liable to pay adult membership fees. Children shall be deemed to have attained the age of 21 years on 1st January following his or her 21st birthday.
  • Membership may be terminated or suspended by DGC at its sole discretion if the member should:

a)      Give false information on application for membership

b)      Permit his or her membership to be used by a non-member or any other person

c)      Exhibit unsatisfactory behavior, deportment or appearance whilst on DGC premises

d)      Failure to pay his or her membership fees

e)      Failure to abide by the Rules & Regulations as set forth for use of DGC facilities and services

Where membership has been suspended or terminated, that member shall not be entitled to a refund of any annual or monthly fees.
