The Qatar Golf Association congratulated all the winners of 31st Edition – WAGR Qatar Open Amateur Golf Championship 2017 and thanked them for playing for this year’s edition.
Pierre Verlaar Jr. of Netherlands was crowned the champion and claimed the trophy and the winner spot that will play for the Commercial Bank Qatar Maters 2017 whilst Qatari player Saleh Al Kaabi got the second place and Christofer Rahm of Sweden got the third place.
The Qatar Golf Association Committee and Board Members headed by the QGA President Mr. Hassan Nasser AL Naimi, crowed the top 10 winners at the closing ceremony yesterday at Doha Golf Club.

The closing ceremony held at Doha Golf Club yesterday was attended by Qatar Golf Association Officials: President Mr. Hassan Nasser Al Naimi, General Secretary and Head of Technical Committee Mr. Fahad Nasser Al Naimi, Deputy General Secretary and Head of Media Committee Mr. Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mohannadi, Executive Director and the Tournament Director Mr. Mohammed Faisal Al Naimi.
Moreover, the Management and Staff of Qatar Golf Association wants to extend their heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all the players, sponsors, media and all the staff for all their support and made this year’s edition a successful one.
