Doha Golf Club is at the centre of golf in Qatar. We are a 27 hole, desert course venue, designed by Peter Harradine. The property features an 18 hole championship course and a 9 hole, floodlit, academy course to provide a challenge to golfers of all skill levels.
Golfers coming up both the 9th and 18th holes on the Championship Course are welcomed by an expansive Arabian-style clubhouse, with a sociable club atmosphere, and a 5 star Food & beverage service provided by the Mayfair Hospitality Group.
The venue boasts a full length driving range (one of the largets in the Middle East), 8 lakes on the course, and thousands of trees and shrubs. The vegetation is both native to the region and transplanted from other desert environments around the world like Arizona, USA.
The wind is notorious for creeping up in the afternoon, and this can quickly become a force to be reckoned with when you play. Morning tee times, in contrast, tend to be more benign in terms of playing conditions. You can make your choice accordingly.
