Dear Member,
As the festive season approaches, we wish safe and pleasant travels to those heading out. We look forward to reconnecting with you in the New Year.
For those staying in Qatar, may your days be filled with enjoyment on the golf course.
Wishing you all the best for the holiday season and the year ahead.
To show our appreciation for your continued support, we are pleased to offer an Early Bird Discount for members who settle their 2026 subscription in FULL amount on or before 11th January 2026
From Sunday 21st, the Championship Course will operate under cart-path-only restrictions, with ropes and stakes implemented across the course. As temperatures cool, protecting turf health, particularly in the rough is critical to maintaining uniformity and presentation as we build towards the 2026 Qatar master’s in early February.
With the weather now ideal, this is also a great opportunity to enjoy walking the course, get your daily steps in, and experience the Championship layout as it was designed to be played.
On Sunday 21st, granular fertilizer and insecticide applications will be applied across the entire Championship Course. These treatments will help:
· Reduce earthworm activity, which has recently caused muddy worm casts
· Improve surface cleanliness and playability
· Strengthen turf heading into the coolest months of the year
We have also completed the construction of several new tees on the front nine, enhancing hole presentation and aligning both the front and back nine teeing grounds for improved uniformity and overall aesthetics.
In addition, course landscaping and tree works are now in full swing as part of our final preparations for the upcoming Qatar Masters, ensuring the course continues to present at tournament standards.
The Academy Course is currently in excellent condition.
· Irrigation works on holes 7, 8, and 9 have been completed, with grass lines growing in strongly
· Bunker maintenance and sand-depth adjustments continue to ensure consistency and playability
· Daily maintenance and grooming practices remain ongoing to maintain high presentation standards throughout the course
Season’s Greetings
On behalf of the Agronomy Department, we would like to wish all members and guests a very Merry Christmas and a safe, happy New Year.
A sincere thank you to the entire agronomy team for their continued hard work, commitment, and professionalism—both on and off the course. Your dedication plays a vital role in delivering outstanding playing conditions year-round.
We look forward to welcoming you onto the course and into an exciting new season ahead
