Member Advisory – Course Safety & Shelter Points
Dear Members,
Following the reopening of Doha Golf Club, we are pleased to confirm that the Championship and Academy Courses are open for play.
Due to the current situation in Qatar, members may still receive MOI government alert messages advising residents to seek shelter during the day.
To ensure everyone’s safety while on the golf course, we have designated the following on-course huts and facilities as evacuation / shelter points.
If an alert message is received while you are on the golf course, please immediately proceed to the nearest shelter location.
Championship Course Shelter Locations
• Hole 3 Hut
• Hole 6 Hut
• Hole 9 Hut
• Hole 13 Hut
• Hole 16 Hut
Academy Course Shelter Locations
• Hole 4 Hut
• Shamel Café
• Clubhouse
We kindly ask all players to remain aware of government alerts on their phones while playing. If an alert advising residents to seek shelter due to incoming projectiles is issued, please move promptly and calmly to the nearest designated shelter location listed above.
Our team will continue monitoring the situation and will provide further updates if required.
