FOOD & BEVERAGE - BARS AND RESTAURANTS REOPENING

We are pleased to confirm that the Bars & Restaurants will be reopening from this Friday, 28th May

There are some very important points for you to note below:

1. To sit inside, you must be fully vaccinated

2. Both Vaccinated and Non-Vaccinated can sit outside

3. Ehteraz and Temperature check must be done at Security, prior to entering

4. Tables are still a maximum of 5 people

The capacity for both inside and outside is currently set to 30%.  With this in mind, the following will be applicable until capacity is increased:

1. Members only - absolutely no Member Guests

2. Tables will not be able to be reserved.  It will be on a strictly first come first served basis.

3. No group bookings or events will be able to take place.

Whilst these new rules can be frustrating, the reserving of tables limits the number of golf members that can sit down after golf.

With MoPH phases changing every 3 weeks, we do hope relax these guidelines.  Please do bear with us.

COVID UPDATES

With the Bars & Restaurants now opening, we are pleased to inform you that the showers in the locker rooms will be open from Friday 28th May.

Bag Storage will also be opening for Full/Midweek members, and for those who have paid.  Any clubs left at Bag Storage, that are not of the correct category, or payment received, will be charged 25 QAR per day.

ACADEMY COURSE GUR / COURSE UPDATE

With the Championship Greens replacement project taking place, there are change that are also happening on the Academy Course

Please do note the following areas of work, and treat as Ground Under Repair (GUR)

4th Hole - From White & Red tees, through to start of fairway.  Fairway extension.  Newly laid grass treated as GUR

5th Hole - From White tees, through to start of fairway.  Fairway extension.  Newly laid grass treated as GUR

7th / 8th Holes - this area is being mounded from the copse of trees near to the 7th tees, through to the Palm Trees towards the end of the Fairway.  Please treat this area is GUR

Please take relief in accordance with Rule 16.1, Abnormal Course Condition.

LOST CLUB

Stefan Ellerbeck lost a Mizuno 9-Iron a while ago on the Championship Course, and it hasn't been handed in.

Stefan is leaving these shores soon, and would love to be reunited with his club before departing.  Many thanks
